What are custom hardware dashboards?
Hardware asset management is available with Jira Service Management Premium and Enterprise.
To set it up, you must be a Jira admin and an Assets admin.
A custom hardware dashboard is a saved, tailored view of your hardware. Each site can have up to two custom dashboards. Instead of using only the default overview, build dashboards with the exact charts, filters and columns your team needs — for example, one focused on warranty expiry or on a specific location.
You build a dashboard from ready-made chart templates that map to common questions about your hardware, or by building your own chart. Once saved, a dashboard appears alongside the default overview so anyone can switch to it.
Custom dashboards are shared — when you create or change one, everyone with access to the hardware space sees it. They aren't personal to you.
Hardware dashboards, however, don’t appear in the Dashboards main navigation item, although they are used in the same way.
