Give team members admin access to Workforce Management
Workforce team admins can manage capacity and schedules for their teams in Jira Service Management. Use this role to let team leads manage day-to-day work without giving them space admin access.
Access applies to a specific team within a space. For example, administering Team A in one space does not give someone admin access to Team B or to Team A in another space.
はじめる前に
To give someone Workforce team admin access:
You must be a space admin.
You must set up Workforce Management and connect the team to your space.
The person must be a member of the team and an agent in the space.
Team admins must keep their team membership and agent access, and the team must remain connected to the space, to retain their permissions.
Give someone team admin access
From your service space, go to Space settings, select Workforce management, then Permissions.
Find the team you want the person to administer.
Select Add team admin and choose the person. You can select more than one person.
Changes save automatically. Repeat these steps for each team the person needs to administer.
What team admins can do
エリア | Permissions for administered teams |
|---|---|
キャパシティ | View and update team capacity, and rebalance work. |
スケジュール | Create, edit, delete, and import schedules. |
Shifts | Manage agents’ shifts, including unassigning shifts and assigning coverage gaps. |
A person can be a team admin for one team and an agent in another. They may see schedules from both teams, but can only manage schedules for teams they administer. They can still take agent actions, such as unassigning their own shift.
Permissions limitations
Workforce team admins can't grant access to other people.
The role doesn't give team admins access to space administration, routing settings, or skills administration.
Availability permissions remain unchanged.
When importing schedules, team admins must administer every team in the file. If any row fails validation, the import doesn't add any schedules. Download the error CSV, correct the affected rows, and upload the file again.
Remove team admin access
Go to Space settings, select Workforce management, and then select Permissions.
Find the team and select its admin field.
Remove the person.
Changes save automatically. This removes their admin role for that team in this space. Their agent access and admin roles for other teams remain unchanged.
Removing team admin access does not cancel a schedule import that has already passed validation.
トラブルシューティング
Person missing from the admin picker: Check that they are a member of the team and an agent in the space.
Capacity is unavailable: Check that the person has team admin access for at least one connected team and still meets the membership and agent requirements.
A schedule is visible but cannot be edited: Check that the person administers the team the schedule belongs to. Being able to view a schedule does not give someone permission to manage it.
