Manage survey access and restrictions

Surveys are currently being rolled out. If you can’t activate surveys right now, check again in a few days.

Surveys in Jira Service Management give you a simple way to listen to people across your organization at key moments, without the need for extra tools. Read more about surveys, or find out how to create a survey.

When you create a survey, it’s locked down by default so that only you (the creator) can view or edit it. As you work on your survey, you might want to add other viewers or collaborators.

Once your survey is ready to be filled out, you might want to update its settings to make sure the right people can access it.

Add or remove viewers and collaborators

Surveys are restricted by default so that only the survey creator can view or edit them.

To add someone to a survey as a viewer or collaborator:

  1. From the navigation on the left, select Surveys.

  2. Select the survey you want to add people to.

  3. Select Manage restrictions ().

  4. Under Select access, choose whether to keep your survey restricted or open to everyone in the space.

  5. To add someone to a restricted survey, search for and add people under Search a user name.

  6. Next to the person’s name, choose whether they have view-only access or edit access.

  7. [保存] を選択します。

Manage survey access settings

Access settings allow you to open or close your survey for response collection, set access restrictions for your survey, and more.

To manage access settings for your survey:

  1. From the navigation on the left, select Surveys.

  2. Select the survey you want to manage access for.

  3. In the top right, select More actions (), then Settings.

  4. Select the Access panel to view and manage access settings, including:

    • Whether or not the survey is Open for response collection or not.

    • Your Closed survey message, which appears when your survey is closed.

    • Survey responder access, which determines who can fill out your survey.

Manage anonymous response settings

You can choose whether to allow anonymous responses or not.

To manage anonymous response settings for your survey:

  1. From the navigation on the left, select Surveys.

  2. Select the survey you want to manage response settings for.

  3. In the top right, select More actions (), then Settings.

  4. Select the Responses panel to expand it.

  5. Choose whether or not to allow Anonymous responses.
