Add request participants by email in team-managed spaces

Anyone with access to the service space can add request participants by including the participant’s email address in the “To” or “Cc” field when creating the request. Learn more about request participants.

  1. Create a request by drafting an email to your service space’s email address.

Request participants will receive an email notifying them that they are participating in the request (depending on the space notification settings).

If they don’t receive an email, check your space notification settings.

Agents and service space admins can add new customers to a service space at any time by including their email address in the “To” or “Cc” field when replying to a request’s email notification. Learn more about users and roles in Jira Service Management.

Depending on your customer access settings and customer permissions, customers may be able to add people to the service space as new customers by including their email address in the “To” or “Cc” field when replying to a request’s email notification.
