Add a Rovo agent to the help center
Rovo agents can help customers get instant, automated help from the moment they land on your help center home page. You can add an existing agent or one that you’ve created from a template.
To use Rovo agents, make sure AI has been activated by your organization’s admin.
To use the virtual service agent, make sure you:
are subscribed to a Service Collection Premium or Enterprise plan
have AI activated and Rovo enabled by your organization admin
are a site admin
Add an existing Rovo agent
Only site admins with help center access can see and use the Rovo agent option from the help center avatar menu.
You can add a Rovo agent from the help center or Studio. Read more about Studio.
Note: Only one Rovo agent can be displayed at a time.
To add a Rovo agent from the help center:
Select your profile avatar on the right of the top navigation, then select Rovo Agent. This opens the Rovo agent management panel for your help center.
Select a Rovo agent that you have access to.
Toggle Display a Rovo agent on this help center to the right in the ON position.

Select Studio from the app switcher.
Select Agents.
Select a Rovo agent you have access to.
Select Surfaces in the side navigation.
Under Extended surfaces, select Add to help center. A modal will appear.
Select a help center from the dropdown.
Toggle Enabled to the right in the ON position.

Add an agent from a template
If you don’t have a Rovo agent built for service, Rovo can automatically create one prefilled with behavior, knowledge, and skills relevant to your help center. The prefilled agent will connect knowledge bases from associated spaces and use a powerful default prompt to create and route requests to the right help center for up to 50 connected spaces.
To add a Rovo agent from a template:
Select your profile avatar on the right of the top navigation, then select Rovo Agent.
Select Create from template. A success flag will appear.
Select Open in Studio from the success flag. You’ll be redirected to an agent prefilled with its behavior, knowledge, and skills.
Edit the agent as needed.
Optionally, select Test to preview how your Rovo agent responds and appears to customers.
Once you’re happy with your agent, return to Jira Service Management to add it to your help center.
Remove a Rovo agent
To remove an agent from the help center, you must use Studio.
Once you’re in Studio:
Select Agents.
Select the Rovo agent you want to remove.
Select Surfaces in the side navigation.
Under Extended surfaces, select Help center. An expandable section will appear with a list of all help centers where this agent is displayed.
Select Remove next to the help center you want to remove the agent from.
Select Remove again to confirm that you want to delete this agent.
