Post stakeholder updates directly from incidents
You can share real-time updates with stakeholders directly from an incident by linking a published status page and posting updates from the incident view. This helps keep external communication consistent and closely aligned with incident progress.
Make sure you’ve created and published a status page
Status pages are managed from the Operations screens. If you don’t have a status page yet, read how to create a status page and publish it before continuing.
Link a status page to an incident
Once a status page is published, you can link it to an incident and start posting updates.
To link a status page:
Open the incident you want to share updates from.
In the incident details view, find the Status pages section.
Select Add status page.
In the dialog, use Select status page to choose one of your published status pages. You can link only one status page per incident.
Confirm your selection to link the status page to the incident.
Send an update to the status page
After linking a status page, you can post updates directly from the incident.
To send an update:
In the Status pages section of the incident, select Send update.
In the update dialog, review or fill in the required details:
Incident impact
インシデントのステータス
タイトル
メッセージ
Choose how to create your update:
Write the update manually: Enter a custom title and message to describe the current incident status and any actions being taken. This option gives you full control over the content of the update.
Use an incident update template: Select an incident template that is available in your system by default, to quickly populate the title and message with standardized wording. Templates help keep stakeholder communications consistent across incidents and reduce the time spent drafting updates.
Review and accept Rovo-suggested content: For eligible incidents, Rovo may suggest an updated title and a message based on the current incident’s context and recent activity. You can review the suggested content and either:
Accept it to use the suggested text as-is and continue editing (if needed), or
Discard it and continue drafting the text manually.
Select Send update to publish the update to the linked status page.
Rovo suggestions are optional and are applied only after you confirm them. You should carefully review any suggested content before publishing.
Subscribers to the status page are notified based on the page’s notification settings.
View updates in the incident
All updates sent to the status page are also recorded on the incident.
You can view previously sent updates in the Status pages section of the incident details, making it easy to track what’s been communicated externally throughout the incident lifecycle.
