Usage limits for Assets and the virtual service agent in Jira Service Management will take effect on October 16. See our blog article for more details.
Some features within Jira Service Management have items that are charged for based on the amount you use. In the case of Assets for Jira Service Management, your usage is calculated based on the total number of objects in all schemas across your site except system schemas. System schemas are schemas used by other features in Jira to store information, such as Services. Read more about Services. Objects within Data Manager do not count towards your usage.
You can set a usage limit for the number of objects your site can store - this can help to prevent unexpected costs due to adding more objects than you planned for. If you haven’t subscribed to the Extra objects add-on yet, then your usage limit will be equal to the allowance included with your base plan - 50,000 objects for Premium and Enterprise customers.
Your usage limit can be raised beyond this allowance by subscribing to the Extra objects add-on. How to add more Assets objects via the ‘Extra objects’ add-on.
