What is a status?
Assets is included with Service Collection Paid plans (Standard, Premium, and Enterprise). What Assets is and how it works.
Display name is currently restricted to customers enrolled in the Beta trial of the Assets common data model. Some details may change before general availability.
A status in Assets is an attribute that can be added to an object type to represent an object’s state, like ‘Running’ or ‘Stopped’ for a server. Assets provides default statuses, but you can add custom ones.
Statuses can be global or specific to an object schema. Global statuses apply across schemas, while schema-specific statuses are limited to their schema. Each status has a Display name shown to users and a system Name that Assets derives for use in AQL and automations, an optional description, and falls into one of three categories: active, pending, or inactive.
