This task requires Data Manager admin permissions to complete. How permissions and roles work in Data Manager.
There are two ways to create a new Data Source Type. You can automatically create a new Data Source Type when configuring a new job, or you can manually create a data source:
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
In the Assets landing page, select Configuration (heading row, top right).
Select the Data Manager tab and click the Data Manager button.
Select Settings in the left nav.
Select Data Source Types in the left menu bar.
Select Add and enter the information in the required fields:
Name - Enter the name of the new Data Source Type.
Default Gap - Enter a value for the Default Gap. The default value is generally 90 days.
To edit a Data Source Type:
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
In the Assets landing page, select Configuration (heading row, top right).
Select the Data Manager tab and click the Data Manager button.
Select Settings in the left nav.
Select Data Source Types in the left menu bar.
Select the Data Source Type you wish to edit and select the edit icon.
To delete a Data Source Type:
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
In the Assets landing page, select Configuration (heading row, top right).
Select the Data Manager tab and click the Data Manager button.
Select Settings in the left nav.
Select Data Source Types in the left menu bar.
Select the Data Source Type you wish to delete and select the delete icon.
