This task requires Data Manager admin permissions to complete. How permissions and roles work in Data Manager.
To enable users or groups to do specific tasks in Data Manager, you must first add them to that role. To add a group or user to a role in Data Manager:
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
Select Configuration under the Asset and configuration management title bar.
Select the Data Manager tab.
Under the Access section, select the field under Users or Groups for the relevant role and start typing to add new users or groups. This will add users or groups to the role.
Hit the Enter key.
Only users and groups that are visible in Assets in Jira Service Management will be visible to be added to roles in Data Manager.
To remove a group of user from a role in Data Manager:
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
