Jira Automation docs have moved

All content related to Jira Cloud Automation, previously under the Automate your Jira processes and workflows section, have moved to the new Cloud Automation docs.

Raise a request to put into your queues

There won’t be any requests in your queues if nobody has sent one to your service project. Although customers can send you requests, sometimes you might raise one for them. For example, if you’re taking a customer request by phone, you can raise the request for them.

In this case, we will raise a request inside your service project so you can explore your queues.

There are 2 ways to raise a request to put into your queues:

  1. From your Jira sidebar, go to Create ()

  2. Select a request type. Request types are based on the project, but you can change them or add new ones. You can also search and select issue types from here too.

  3. Fill out the fields and click Create.

Or:

  1. From your service project, select Create.

  2. Select a request type. Your request types are based on the project template you chose, but you can change them or add new ones.

  3. Fill out the fields and select Send.
