Add or remove a service from the affected services field

Changes to Jira Service Management Free and Standard

As of October 16, 2024, change management in Jira Service Management has moved from Standard to Premium. Existing service spaces in Free and Standard will continue to support existing request types and work types. Read more about the plan changes.

To access Jira Service Management Premium features, subscribe to a Service Collection Premium or Enterprise plan.

The affected services field displays the service that triggered the change request. This service is linked to the CI/CD pipeline tool.

Add a service to the affected services field

  1. From your service space, go to Changes.

  2. Open the change work item.

  3. Go to the Affected services field and add the service from the drop-down list provided.

To remove a service from the field, select Remove ().

The affected services field will not appear for those users who don’t hold a Jira license.
