Linking assets (referred to as objects) directly to an issue is a powerful feature of Assets in Jira Service Management. This can help your agents get the context they need to resolve an issue or request quickly and effectively.
To link an asset to an issue in Jira Service Management, you’ll need the following:
Access to a Premium or Enterprise plan
Jira project admin and Assets manager level permissions
An Assets in Jira Service Management schema that contains objects ready to link
To link an asset to the field:
Go to the issue view of an issue.
Under Linked assets in the sidebar, select + Link asset.
Search for assets.
Select the asset you want to link.
If you do not see any search results:
Check your app is set up correctly by referring to its setup guide.
Make sure you have assets in your asset management system.
This page is for company-managed projects
