Create and reschedule change requests in the change calendar

The change calendar is where you can view and schedule change requests across all of your Jira Service Management service projects. Learn more about the change calendar.

Create a change request from the change calendar

  1. From your service project, select Change calendar.

  2. Find the date and time that you want to schedule the change request for.

  3. Select (and drag) until your desired time is highlighted.

  4. Fill out the change request that appears. For the request to appear on the calendar, you’ll need to make sure that:

  5. Select Create.

Reschedule a change request in the calendar view

  1. From your service project, select Change calendar.

  2. Find the change request you want to reschedule.

  3. Select and drag the change request to your desired date and time. To change the duration of the change request, select the bottom of the change request and drag it up or down.

Reschedule a change request in the calendar using the date fields

  1. From your service project, select Change calendar.

  2. Select the change request you want to reschedule > Edit ().

  3. Change the ‘planned’ or ‘actual’ dates. Learn more about date fields for the change calendar.

  4. Select Exit ().
