What is language support?

When you create a service project your service project displays in the default language inherited from your Jira site.

To meet your customer's language preferences, you can add multiple languages to a service project. This translates the language to their preferred language in portals and help centers.

You can translate your:

  • portal, including announcements, field names, and portal name

  • request types

  • customer notifications

  • email templates

  • help centers, including name, home page title, announcements, and login message
