Deleting a knowledge base article category removes the category from the knowledge base and help center. The articles in this category aren't deleted and can still be accessed by your customers. You can either recategorize them or leave them uncategorized.
To delete a knowledge base article category:
From your service project, go to Knowledge base.
Select the category you want to delete from the Categories list shown in the main navigation sidebar.
Select ••• > Delete category.
Categories are only available for spaces linked from Confluence cloud sites.
