Create a status

Insight in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. It is compatible only with company-managed projects. Learn more about Insight.

Statuses can be created at an Insight configuration level, in which case they are applied to all schemas. To add statuses at this level, you must be logged in as a Jira admin.

Statuses can also be created to an individual schema. To do this, you need to have Object Schema Manager permissions.

To add statuses for all schemas:

  1. Select Insight, and then select Configuration at top-right.

  2. Under the Statuses tab, select Create a status.

  3. Select a Category.

  4. Select Add.

To create statuses for an individual schema:

  1. Select Insight, then select an object schema.

  2. Select Object schema at top right, then Configure.

  3. Under the Statuses tab, select Create a status.

  4. Select a Category.

  5. Select Add.
