Create a status
Assets is included with Service Collection Paid plans (Standard, Premium, and Enterprise). What Assets is and how it works.
Display name is currently restricted to customers enrolled in the Beta trial of the Assets common data model. Some details may change before general availability.
Statuses in Assets can be created at the global level by an Assets admin with Jira or Jira Service Management access, applying to all schemas.
To create references to an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.
Create statuses at a global level
Go to Assets and select Settings (), then Assets Settings.
From your sidebar, select Global statuses.
Select Create a status.
Enter a Display name for the status — this is the name shown to users — and select a Category. Assets derives a system Name from it for use in automations and APIs; you can edit the derived Name before saving.
Select Create.
Create a status for an individual schema
From the app switcher, select Assets.
From your sidebar, select Schemas.
Select an object schema.
Select Schema settings.
Under the Statuses types tab, select Create a status.
Enter a Display name for the status — this is the name shown to users — and select a Category. Assets derives a system Name from it for use in automations and APIs; you can edit the derived Name before saving.
Select Create.
