Add a status

Insight in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Insight.

Statuses can be added at an Insight configuration level, in which case they are applied to all schemas. To add statuses at this level, you must be logged in as a Jira admin.

Statuses can also be added to an individual schema. To do this, you need to have Object Schema Manager permissions.

To add statuses for all schemas:

  1. Select Insight in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Configuration.

  3. Under the Statuses tab, enter a Name and a Description

  4. Select a Category.

  5. Select Add.

To add statuses for an individual schema:

  1. Select Insight in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Object schemas.

  3. Select Configure in the row of the relevant schema.

  4. Under the Statuses tab, enter a Name and a Description

  5. Select a Category.

  6. Select Add.
