Link a Confluence space to your knowledge base

You can link a Confluence space on the same site to your Jira Service Management knowledge base. Articles from that space then appear in your help center, knowledge base search, and the Virtual Service Agent.

You can link more than one knowledge source to a knowledge base, including native Confluence spaces, cross-site Confluence spaces, and third-party folders. See Link multiple knowledge sources to a knowledge base.

Before you begin

  • You need admin access to manage the knowledge base.

  • The Confluence space you want to link must be on the same site.

  1. Go to KB Settings.

  2. Select Confluence.

  3. Select Content as the space.

  4. Link the space.

Where linked content appears

  • The Articles tab

  • Help center search

  • Virtual Service Agent search

After you link a space, it can take a few seconds before the content appears in search.
