Delete a reference

Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets.

To delete a reference that has been added at an Assets configuration level, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin. References added at an Assets configuration level cannot be deleted if they are currently used in your instance of Assets.

  1. Select a relevant Object schema.

  2. Select Configure, then choose the References tab.

  3. Select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  4. In the popup window, select Delete.

To delete a reference that has been added to an individual schema, you need to have Object Schema Manager permissions. References added at an individual schema level cannot be deleted if they are currently used in your object schema.

  1. Select an object schema.

  2. Select Schema configuration.

  3. Under References tab, select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  4. In the popup window, select Delete.
