Disable the ability to create objects within an object type
Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets.
To disable the ability to create objects within an object type, you must be logged in as a Jira admin or have Object Schema Manager permissions.
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
Select an object schema from the list.
Select an object type.
Select to the right of the object type, or select from the top-right of the screen.
Select Configure object type.
Under the Inheritance tab, select Set the object type as abstract.
