Manage domains on your allowlist

Messages received from domain names in your allowlist are never filtered out. Add trusted domains to your allowlist so that you'll always receive their messages.

You must be an admin to add, edit, and remove domains from your allowlist.

To add, edit, or remove a domain from your allowlist:

  1. From your service project, go to Service project settings () > Channels > Email.

  2. Select More () > Manage allowlist.

    • Select + Add domain name to add a domain to your allowlist.

    • Select Edit or Delete next to any domains you want to edit or remove from your allowlist.

You can also prevent messages from domains or specific email addresses from being received by adding them to your blocklist.

  • Currently, allowlists only support exact domain matching. For example, adding 'example.com' will match 'anyuser@example.com' but not 'anyuser@example.com.au' or 'anyuser@mail.example.com'.

  • The allowlist does not currently support individual email addresses, wildcards, or pattern matching.

  • If an email appears to be spam or phishing because it fails DMARC sender verification, it will be filtered out regardless of your allowlist settings.

  • If a domain is added to your allowlist and your blocklist, the blocklist will take priority and messages from that domain will not be processed.

This page is for team-managed projects

If the lower-left of your service project sidebar doesn’t say you're in a team-managed project, check out these company-managed project articles instead.
