Edit a status

Insight in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. It is compatible only with company-managed projects. Learn more about Insight.

To edit a status that has been added at an Insight configuration level, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin.

  1. From your service project, go to Insight > Configure Insight.

  2. Under the Statuses tab, select the NameDescription, or Category to edit. 

  3. Select Update.

To edit a status that has been added to an individual schema, you need to have Object Schema Manager permissions.

  1. From your service project, go to Insight > Object schemas.

  2. Select Configure in the row of the relevant schema.

  3. Under the Statuses tab, select the NameDescription, or Category to edit. 

  4. Select Update.
