Edit a status
Assets is included with Service Collection Paid plans (Standard, Premium, and Enterprise). What Assets is and how it works.
Display name is currently restricted to customers enrolled in the Beta trial of the Assets common data model. Some details may change before general availability.
To edit a status in Assets that has been added at a global level, you need to be logged in as an Assets admin with Jira or Jira Service Management access.
To edit the status of an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.
Edit statuses at a global level
Go to Assets and select Settings (), then Assets Settings.
From your sidebar, select Global statuses.
Select the field to edit. You can edit the Display name (the name shown to users), the Name (the system identifier), the Description, or the Category.
Select Update.
Editing the Display name only changes how the status appears to users and is safe. Editing the Name can affect AQL queries and automations that reference the status, so Assets warns you before saving.
Edit a status for an individual schema
From the app switcher, select Assets.
From your sidebar, select Schemas.
Select an object schema.
Select Schema settings.
Under the Statuses tab, select the field to edit. You can edit the Display name (the name shown to users), the Name (the system identifier), the Description, or the Category.
Select Update.
