What are objects?
Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets.
An object is a representation of a single, unique thing of a particular object type included in an object schema. An object could be anything - a laptop, a server, a piece of equipment, a contract, or even a vehicle.
Similar objects are grouped into object types. In turn, each individual object contains attributes - properties that contain detailed information about that object.
