Delete an object schema

Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets.

To delete an object schema, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin. This will permanently delete the object schema - along with all object types that are children of this schema.

From the AssetsObject schemas list view:

  1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Configuration next to the schema you want to delete.

  3. Under the General tab, select Delete Schema.

  4. Follow the instructions and enter the schema name.

  5. Select Delete Schema.

From within an object schema:

  1. Select Object schema in the top right and select Schema configuration in the dropdown.

  2. Under the General tab, select Delete Schema.

  3. Follow the instructions and enter the schema name.

  4. Select Delete Schema.

Deleting an object schema will permanently delete the object schema, all object types and objects that are children of this schema.
