Delete a reference

Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets

 

To delete a reference that has been created at a configuration level in Assets, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin.

To delete references to an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.

References added cannot be deleted if they are in use within your Assets instance.

Delete references at a configuration level

  1. Go to Assets and select an object schema.

  2. Select Configure, then choose the References tab.

  3. Select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  4. In the popup window, select Delete.

Delete references for an individual schema

  1. Go to Assets and select an object schema.

  2. Select Schema configuration.

  3. Under the References tab, select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  4. In the popup window, select Delete.

Deleting a reference can't be undone.
