Create a status

Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets

 

Statuses in Assets can be created at the configuration level by Jira admins, applying to all schemas.

To create references to an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.

Create statuses at a configuration level

  1. Go to Assets and select Configuration.

  2. Under the Global references tab, select Create a status.

  3. Enter a Name and select a Category.

  4. Select Create.

Create a status for an individual schema

  1. Go to Assets and select an object schema.

  2. Select Schema configuration.

  3. Under the Statuses types tab, select Create a status.

  4. Enter a Name and select a Category.

  5. Select Create.
