Import your data into Assets

Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.

This task requires Data Manager admin permissions to complete. How permissions and roles work in Data Manager.

Export CSV Data

To create a CSV export:

  1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

  2. On the landing page, select Configuration at top-right.

  3. Select the Data Manager tab.

  4. Select the Data Manager icon .

  5. Select Analysis in the left sidebar.

  6. (Optional) Select the saved search icon to view a listing of saved searches and their results.

  7. Select Export current result in the top menu bar.

  8. In the Export request screen:

    1. Enter a name for your exported file name. The name should only contain alphanumeric characters, hyphens, dots and underscores.

    2. Select Submit. An export request has now been created.

When you submit an export request, Data Manager will initiate the processing of your requested data into a downloadable file.

Upon completion, navigate to the "My Downloads" section to track the status of your export request. Once processing is finished, you'll be able to download the result.

Any requests older than 24 hours will be removed during the import process.

Download CSV Data

To download your data:

  1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

  2. On the landing page, select Configuration at top-right.

  3. Select the Data Manager tab.

  4. Select the Data Manager icon .

  5. Select My Downloads in the left navigation bar.

  6. In the My Downloads screen, select one the download icon to download the data to your local device, or the delete icon to remove the export request and data.
