How to use the issues for attention insight

The issues for attention insight on Jira Service Management boards surfaces stuck issues and issues that are blocked by their dependencies, making it easier for you to address high-priority work.

Select the Insights button on your board view to see the Issues for attention insight.

All is the default tab and shows all of your issues for attention. This list may include stuck or blocked issues. Issues in this list may also be a combination of stuck and blocked.

Blocked issues are linked to their dependencies using the Blocked by link, found in the quick-add () button. This insight relies on the default state of the blocked by link. If the link has been modified, your issues won’t display in this insight.

Stuck issues are automatically labeled as stuck when they’ve been in the same status for too long. What counts as ‘too long’ is calculated based off the amount of time other issues usually stay in the status. If the issue has spent longer in the status then 85% of other issues, it will be considered stuck.

Issues are ordered by set priority or due date, which makes it easier to know what to pay attention to next. Select an issue to expand its view and see more detail.

You might have Prev and Next buttons at the bottom of the insight. This means that there were too many issues to display in one list. Select Next to view the remaining issues under the tab, or select Prev to go back a step.
