Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.
A token is a key that allows you to connect two apps. This is often called a Single Sign-On (SSO) token, or just token.
There are three types of tokens available in Assets Data Manager. Two of these tokens are used to enable the Data Manager clients:
The Adapters Client token is used to pass information from an adapter into Assets Data Manager.
The Cleanse and Import token allows the Cleanse and Import client to connect to Assets Data Manager. It can be used to trigger Cleanse and Import operations from the command line, and will also create your snapshots for some chart types.
The third token is used to connect Assets in Jira Service Management to Data Manager through the Schema adapter:
The Basic Authentication token allows Assets in Jira Service Management to create a conversation between Data Manager and a Schema. To run the Schema job, you'll also need the Adapters Client token.
