Data Manager - Data Manager Clients
Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.
The Data Manager Clients are two locally-installed middleware clients that are available on the Atlassian Marketplace. They operate securely and locally behind your firewall, allowing you to connect Assets Data Manager directly to your tools, databases, and files.
The Assets Adapters Client is required to run a job. Running a job moves data from your tools, databases, and files into Assets Data Manager.
The Assets Cleanse and Import Client is recommended to Cleanse and Import data from your data sources using the command line.
You may also use any scheduling tool with either of these clients, allowing you to bring in, cleanse, and import data asynchronously.
