Data Manager - Computed
Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.
Computed attribute is a special type of field that does not contain raw information from a Data Source.
Computed attributes cannot be mapped against information from a data source, but must be mapped against a Normal attribute. Computed attributes are always used with the Computed Dictionary to normalise data.
To find what attributes are computed, in Data Manager go to Settings > Attributes and sort the Normal column. Those listed as: Normal = No are Computed.
