Data Manager - Column heading row

Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.

The Column heading is a field in the Flat File configuration screen and identifies the row in a CSV or data file that contains the names of the headings for each column. This is important when you are creating or editing a job that reads from a file, because it lets Data Manager know how the data is arranged.

In a typical CSV file, this is the first row. If the headings are on a different row, you can use the Skip rows field to specify a different value.

If you are using the Auto-generate column mappings field, you must copy and paste the correct column headings into the field before Data Manager generates the appropriate mappings. The order of columns is critical and each flat file received must be in the same order as the original file.
