Configure a PowerShell-based job

Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.

This task requires Data Manager Adapters admin permissions to complete. See how permissions and roles work in Data Manager.

Create an PowerShell-based job

To create a new job using an PowerShell-based tool as a data source:

  1. From within Data Manager, select Adapters in the left menu bar. This will open a new tab to the Adapters screen.

  2. Select Create a job in the left menu bar.

  3. Under Products, select the PowerShell-based tool that you want to use to bring in data.

Once you have created a new job, you must complete all of the Required (*) fields before the job can be successfully saved.

Configure an PowerShell-based job

Next, configure all of the Required (*) fields. For more information about which fields are required and what information is returned from the data source, please see the Learn about Adapters section and select the name of the Adapter that you are using.

Save a job

Once all required fields have been filled and all columns in the data source have been mapped, you can Save this job. Your new job should be visible in the All Jobs screen.
