Jira Service Management is getting a new navigation

Add Services, Alerts, and On-call to your sidebar

Jira Service Management has a number of features that come out-of-the-box for IT service management spaces, but can be enabled in other spaces – for example, spaces made for external support, HR, or legal teams.

  • Alerts and On-call can be enabled for all space types.

  • Services is only available for ITSM spaces.

You need to be a Jira admin to enable these features for your service space.

To add Alerts or On-call to your non-ITSM space:

  1. Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.

  2. Select Features

  3. Use the toggle to enable the features you’d like to use.

You can now leave space settings to see the changes in the navigation sidebar – you’ll see them under the Operations heading.

Set up your new features by selecting them in your sidebar navigation and following the instructions in each section.
