Manage active and inactive journeys
The features described in this article are only available to those participating in the early access program (EAP) for journeys in Jira Service Management.
Journeys can be in one of two states during configuration; active or inactive; with each state determining whether or not the journey runs. Within each state are a number of statuses to help you monitor each configuration of a journey.
Inactive states
下書き
Every journey you create starts off as a Draft. This allows you to slowly build up your process and continue working with stakeholders while your progress is auto-saved. Drafts need to pass all validation checks before they can be published, such as ensuring all required fields are populated. Once you’re ready to activate your journey, select Publish.
Archived
Any active journeys that you’d like to no longer use or have triggered can be archived. Archiving won’t affect any existing journeys that have already been triggered. If you’d like to archive a journey, select a published journey and Archive.
We’ll be giving you the ability to restore archived journeys so they can be made active again soon during EAP.
Active states
Published
Once your ready for your journey to start running, it can be published which immediately makes it active.
Once a journey is published, you’ll no longer be able to make any changes to it’s configuration. If changes are required, you’ll need to rebuild your journey. We will be improving upon this experience and providing edit access soon during EAP.
