Take action on an issue from the old issue view

We're rolling out a new issue view for Jira Service Management, with one consistent screen to view and edit issues. It looks a little different and some procedures have changed slightly. Learn more about the new issue view.

In the old issue view, actions you can take are located at the top, right underneath the issue’s summary.

In the above example, the customer has summarized their request using “Laptop screen blinks”.

Under this title, you can select:

  • Edit to change the issue’s details

  • Comment to communicate with the customer or your service project team members

  • Assign to assign the issue to another service project agent

  • Workflow to transition the issue through its workflow

  • Share to share the issue with team members

  • More to print the issue, or export it
