Create a new queue
Queues are a kind of filter for your requests. These can be set to show specific requests based on their type, status or something more specific using a JQL statement.
You need to be a space admin to create a new queue.
Rovo can help you create, update, and manage your queue and queue groups so you can get a new service space set up quickly, without writing manual JQL.
Open Rovo Chat and enter /manage-jsm-queue, tell Rovo what work items you want in the queue, then Rovo generates the JQL filter and column layout for you. Edit an existing queues details, JQL, or columns. Or, manage queue groups — create a new queue group, or add, remove, and ask about queues in an existing queue group.
You can’t use this skill to delete queues or queue groups.
Rovo must be enabled. You must have space admin or Jira admin permissions for the space you want to create in.
Create a new queue
Next to Queues in your space, select More actions (), then Queue settings.
Select Create new queue.
Enter a name for your queue.
You can assign the queue to one or more priority groups so it will appear within the groups in your queue.
In the Filter by section, select the required type, status, resolution, label and any other filters you want to apply. You can also select Advanced to enter a JQL statement.
If required, select criteria from the More drop-down menu.
If required, select an order from the Order by drop-down menu.
From the Columns section, update columns by dragging and dropping to the required location. This is the order the columns appear in your queue.
Select Create.
