Import services into Assets with Teamwork Graph
Use Teamwork Graph connectors to import services and their relationships from observability platforms into Assets. What are services?
Before you begin
To use connectors with Assets, you must have:
An organization admin role
A Jira Service Management Standard, Premium or Enterprise plan
How service imports work
If you define services in observability platforms, you can import them and their relationships into the Software Services object type within the Software Registry schema in Assets. Imported services are categorized as Tier 3 services.

Import details
Data imported: Services, service names, and service-to-service relationships.
Sync frequency: Data syncs once a day.
Teamwork Graph: Imported data is indexed to your Teamwork Graph.
Import services using a connector
To import your services:
Go to admin.atlassian.com and select your organization.
Select Connectors in the side navigation.
Select Add connector and select your observability platform.
Enter the required information for your platform and select Save.
Datadog fields
Connector name: Enter a unique name for this connector.
API key: Enter the API key generated from your Datadog instance.
Application key: Enter the application key generated from your Datadog instance.
Base URL: Enter the URL of your Datadog instance (for example,
https://api.datadoghq.eu).Namespace: Enter a unique identifier to partition your data (optional).
Dynatrace fields
Connector name: Enter a unique name for this connector.
Client ID: Enter the client ID generated from your Dynatrace instance.
Client secret: Enter the client secret generated from your Dynatrace instance.
Account URN: Enter the account URN generated from your Dynatrace instance.
Base URL: Enter the URL of your Dynatrace instance.
Namespace: Enter a unique identifier to partition your data (optional).
NewRelic fields
Connector name: Enter a unique name for this connector.
API key: Enter the API key generated from your New Relic instance.
Base URL: Enter the URL of your New Relic instance (for example,
https://api.newrelic.com).Namespace: Enter a unique identifier to partition your data (optional).
About namespaces
A namespace is a unique identifier used to scope data within your Teamwork Graph.
Default namespace: Leave the field blank to use the "default" namespace. Use this if you have one instance of a tool or want data with matching names to merge across different tools.
Custom namespace: Provide a custom name if you connect multiple instances of the same tool (such as separate accounts for different teams) and want to keep their records separate.
View connector status
To check the status of your sync:
Go to admin.atlassian.com and select your organization.
Select Connectors in the side navigation.
Select the connector you want to view.
Review the sync status and the number of objects synced to Assets.
To update or remove the connection, select More actions (•••) to edit or delete the connector.
