Approve or decline an issue from the old issue view

We're rolling out a new issue view for Jira Service Management, with one consistent screen to view and edit issues. It looks a little different and some procedures have changed slightly. Learn more about the new issue view.

You must be the approver of an issue to approve or decline it. Learn more about approvals.

To approve an issue:

  1. Go to the issue that you want to approve or decline.

  2. Under the issue’s summary, select Approve or Decline.
