Add a shared inbox to a custom email account in next-gen

Your project comes with a pre-configured cloud email address, to which you can add a custom one to link to an existing shared email address.

You must be a Jira site admin to add a custom email account.

To add a new Microsoft365 shared email address:

  1. From your service project, go to Service project settings () > Channels > Email.

  2. Select Other.

  3. Enter the shared email address under Email.

  4. Check the box next to My username is different to my email address.

  5. Enter your Username and Password > Next.

  6. Enter ‘outlook.office365.com’ in the Mail server field.

  7. Select IMAPS in the Protocol field > Next.
