Rules help you streamline your service team's process by automatically updating fields when you move requests through your workflow. Workflow rules can automatically update a request's fields, or limit the people who can use a certain transition in your workflow, and more. Read more about workflows in team-managed service projects.
Currently, we have the following workflow rules:
Assign a request to someone
Update a request field
- Restrict who can move a request
- Remind people to update empty fields
- Check that a request has been through a status
- Check a request's field
For each transition, you can have up to:
- 50 Restrict transition rules
- 50 Validate details rules
- 50 Perform actions rules
Learn more about each rule and see examples of how you might use them.
You must have the administrator role in your project to do the things described on this page. Learn more about team-managed project roles.
