We're updating our terminology in Jira

'Issue' is changing to 'work item'. You might notice some inconsistencies while this big change takes place.

Stop supporting a language

If you'd like to stop supporting a language, we recommend you disable it rather than remove it from your service project. That way, you can keep up with translations in case you want to enable it again.

To stop supporting a language:

  1. From your service project, select Project settings, then Language support.

  2. Find the language in the list.

  3. Turn off the toggle next to the language in the Available to customers column.

When you disable a language, customers who had set it as their preferred language will have a fragmented experience. They will see some of the content in the help center in their preferred language (for example, Log in or Profile), and rest of the content, like request types and notifications, in the service project’s default language.

This page applies to company-managed projects only.
