Get started with surveys
Surveys are currently being rolled out. If you can’t activate surveys right now, check again in a few days.
Surveys in Jira Service Management give you a simple way to listen to people across your organization at key moments, without the need for extra tools. You can easily create and manage surveys using a no‑code builder and ready‑made templates. Because surveys live in your service space with your requests and projects, it’s easy to send the right questions at the right time and keep everything in one place.
Surveys are ideal for collecting quick scores and written feedback about service experiences, like onboarding, offboarding, and more. Templates with best‑practice questions help you get useful, structured data instead of scattered comments. Built‑in charts and exports make it easy to spot patterns and see whether your changes are actually improving satisfaction and experience over time.
Example
Let’s say you work on the HR services team and want to improve your onboarding process, so you set up a new‑hire survey to send 30 days after each person joins.
Results show strong scores for team welcome, but weaker scores for “I received the information and resources I needed”, and comments point to confusion about policies and where to find help.
You update your onboarding checklist and knowledge articles, then run a follow‑up survey. Over the next few months, your onboarding scores rise and new hires become productive faster, with clear data in Jira Service Management to show what changed.
