Delete, unpublish, or restore a status page
You can unpublish, delete, or restore a status page depending on its current state. These actions help you temporarily stop updates, archive a page, or permanently remove it when it’s no longer needed.
A status page can’t be unpublished or deleted if it has active incidents.
Unpublish a status page
Unpublishing a status page moves it back to draft. Subscribers can no longer view the page or receive updates, but the page and its data are retained.
To unpublish a status page:
Go to Operations > Status pages.
Open the status page you want to unpublish.
Select More actions (), then select Unpublish.
Review the confirmation message and select Unpublish.
Delete a status page
Deleting a status page archives it first. The page remains archived for 60 days before it’s permanently deleted.
To delete a status page:
Go to Operations > Status pages.
Open the status page you want to delete.
Select More actions (), then select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Restore an archived status page
You can restore a status page while it’s still archived. When a previously published status page is restored, it’s returned in an Unpublished state. This lets you review and update the page before making it live again.
To restore an archived status page:
Open the archived status page.
Select More actions (), then select Restore.
Confirm the restore action.
Permanently delete a status page
Permanently deleting a status page removes it and all associated data. This action can’t be undone.
To permanently delete a status page:
Open the archived status page.
Select More actions (), then select Permanently delete.
Acknowledge that the action is irreversible.
Select Permanently delete.
