Customize your incident management workflow

To customize Jira Service Management’s default incident management workflow:

  1. From your service project, select Project settings > Workflows.

  2. Select the edit icon () in the entry titled Incident Management workflow for Jira Service Management. The edit option is only available to users with the Administer Jira global permission.

  3. Use the workflow editor to add or remove steps and transitions. Read more about editing workflows.

Only service projects created from the IT service management template are associated with an incident management workflow.
