Add, update, or review translations for email templates

Email templates can’t be edited if you are on a Free plan of Jira Service Management.

To access this feature, upgrade your plan and complete the evaluation period. If you need to enable the feature during your evaluation period, contact Atlassian support.

Your service space’s email templates allow you to send standardized messages to your customers.

To add, review, or update translations to email templates:

  1. Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.

  2. Select Language support.

  3. Select the language of your choice from the list.

  4. Select Email templates from the sidebar.

  5. Add, update, or review translations in the text fields as appropriate.

  6. Select Save.

Changes made to email templates can’t be automatically translated. If you make a language change to an email template, you’ll need to update the email template for each translated language. Find out how to keep your translations up to date.
