Add asset fields in team-managed projects

You can link multiple assets on a single request by adding one or more asset fields. Make sure you have an asset management app installed and that you’re logged in as a Jira project admin to add additional asset fields.

To add additional asset fields:

  1. In your team-managed service project, go to Service project settings () > Request types.

  2. Drag the Assets box under Create a field into the Internal fields form builder.

  3. Name the new asset field.

  4. Optionally, select an asset type to only show assets of that type.

  5. Select Save changes.

  6. Complete steps 2-5 again to add more asset fields.

If you're using a team-managed project, use an asset management app like Insight for Jira Cloud to manage asset fields.

If you're using a company-managed project, use Insight in Jira Service Management to manage the Insight object field.

This page is for team-managed projects

If the lower-left of your service project sidebar doesn’t say you're in a team-managed project, check out these company-managed project articles instead.
