Related work on the Development page

The related work section contains details of work from apps connected to Jira, for example, pull requests, security vulnerabilities, and deployments. This is where you can drill down into the specifics, see who’s working on what, get proactive suggestions about work that needs your attention, and jump straight to the code details if you need to. It helps ensure you always have the context to support your team and drive delivery. You stay close to the actual work, making it easy to investigate issues, monitor risks, and track progress to help your team ship secure, reliable code faster.

Linked pull requests

The Pull requests tab in the Related work section shows:

  • all pull requests linked to work items in your software space within the last 30 days

  • pull requests linked previously but updated within the last 30 days

You can view the details of any pull request, provided you have access to its repository.

You’ll start seeing pull requests in the related work section when the following steps are completed:

  1. Connect a source code management app to Jira. Your Jira site admin can do this for you. Read more about integrating Jira with development apps

  2. Reference work items in pull request titles. Team members must include Jira work item keys in pull request titles to link them to your Jira space. Find out how to reference work items in your development projects

リポジトリ

The Repositories tab in the Related work section displays code repositories from your connected source code tools (such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or others) that are linked to your software space. Repositories appear here when your code tool is properly connected and configured, and when work item keys are included in branch names, commit messages, or pull requests.

セキュリティの脆弱性

The Vulnerabilities tab in the Related work section shows a list of security vulnerabilities sourced from security containers connected to your software space in Jira. You can view the details of each vulnerability its details as long as you have access to the corresponding security container.

This feature enables your team to triage vulnerabilities, link them to work items, and track their resolution—all within Jira. By transforming unplanned security issues into actionable work, your team can maintain a strong focus on security while balancing regular delivery priorities.

You’ll start seeing security vulnerabilities in the related work section when your Jira admin connects a security app to Jira and connects security containers to your software space.

デプロイメント

The Deployments tab in the Related work section lists production deployments linked to work items in your space. It shows the latest deployment with its status and last deploy time. Selecting a deployment opens the Development panel, displaying all deployments linked to that work item.

You’ll see deployments on the Development page after setting up deployment integration, linking development activity to Jira with work item keys, and running at least one deployment on a linked branch, commit, or pull request.
