Import data from a software space to a business space

Moving your work from a software space to a business space just got easier.

Using the Jira importer, you can directly import your existing software data to a new business space. This helps save the effort of manually moving data and ensures all information stays relevant and accurate. Not to mention, your teams now get to work in the Jira that best fits their use case.

Jira インポーターを使用してデータを直接インポートするには、次の手順を実行します。

1. Next to Spaces in the sidebar, select Create space ().Select Import data.

   1. You can also navigate to the same page from Settings (⛭), then System. Select External system import in the sidebar.

2. Select Jira (software space) from the list of apps.

3. Select the software space from where you’d like to import data from. Once you select the space, the About this software space section will display the number of work items in the selected space that will be imported.

4. [次へ] を選択します。

5. You’ll need to create a new business space for where you want your imported data to land. You can customize the name of the space, its access and key type. Then select Next.

6. Review the details for your new space. The screen will summarize how your software space data will be imported:

• Field mapping: View and customize how the standard and custom fields in your software space will be mapped in your business space.

• Import users: Bring users from your software space to your new space so they remain assigned to the work. These users won’t receive any notifications when they’re added to the new business space.

• Import attachments: Select whether to import attachments into your new space.

9. データのインポートを開始する準備ができたら [インポート] を選択します。

The importer will automatically start bringing over the data from the software space in the background. You’ll find a progress bar that will indicate the status of your import.

You can continue to work on other things and return to the page to see the progress of your import.

Once the data is imported, work items from your software space will show on the board view as work items in your new business space. More about the board view

Edit fields in your business space

You can edit how the software space fields are imported into your business space during the import.

The Review details screen will summarize how your data will map to the new business space. Select Field mapping. This is where you’ll find how your data has been automatically mapped.

2. You can either select an existing field from the options provided or select a custom field type that best suits the format of your field. If you select a custom field, it’ll take the same name as your software space.

Summary is a required field in Jira. It can’t be modified or excluded from an import.

Supported software space field types

Jirabusiness spaces have two types of fields:

• 標準フィールド: これらのフィールドは「組み込み」、すなわち既定でソフトウェアの一部です。

• カスタム フィールド: これらのフィールドは、ユーザーのニーズに基づいてカスタマイズできます。

The data from your software space field types can map to either system fields or custom fields in business spaces.

Unsupported software space fields

The following software space fields can’t be mapped to either system or custom fields in business spaces. These fields aren’t supported as part of the import:

• Mirror

• World clock

• Progress

• Creation log

• Auto number

• ボタン

• 数式

• Board relation

• Doc

• 依存ドロップダウン

• ストーリー ポイントの見積もり

• Sprint

• 環境

• Epic label

• エピック名

• エピック ステータス

• チーム

• バージョン
