Find a field on the work item

Sometimes there are too many fields in too many places and finding a particular one is hard. If you don’t know where a field is, the work item has a quick way for you find it.

You must be an admin to use Find your field on the work item.

To find a field on the work item:

  1. 作業項目を開きます。

  2. その他のアクション (···)、[フィールドを検索] の順に選択します。

  3. 目的のフィールドを検索します。

  4. フィールドを選択します。

A table with the field’s status, admin-related settings, and details will display information about where you can find the field or why the field isn’t displayed on the work item. If the field isn’t visible, it may not be scoped correctly for the specific project or issue types.

To resolve this, navigate to the field's configuration page, edit the field’s context, and include the relevant projects and issue types. Save the changes to ensure the field appears for the intended usage. How to manage field configurations in work items

Some fields, like Time Spent or Σ Time Spent, are part of time-tracking features and can’t be added to the main issue layout. These fields are visible in specific locations, such as the Work Log tab within the Activity section, or as columns in the issue list view, reports, and dashboards. When users log time, the total logged time will reflect in these fields.
